Specialist dental practice Dr. Markovic was founded in January 2003 by prof. Dr. Aleksa Markovic and Dr. Dejan Kurtovic. It is located in Belgrade in 10 Balkanska Street.

In the dental practice Dr. Markovic you can get all kinds of dental services with the most modern methods and materials. Dental Practice Dr. Markovic enables modern treatment of hard and soft dental tissues, all types of surgical interventions in the domain of Oral Surgery, Periodontics and Implantology, all types of jaws and teeth irregularities correction, as well as treatment and reconstruction of damaged teeth.

Two dental offices for treatment of all types of dental diseases and fully equipped X-ray cabinet, enable the solution for every dental problem. Contemporary digital radiological diagnostic is carried out in cooperation with the X-ray office Centar which is located just across the street. Diagnostics performed with modern digital technology, can be done with  maximum reduction of radiation. At the request of the patient image is issued in foil or on CD. 

In the dental office Dr. Markovic we work with  two high class implant systems Straumann and Branemark.

Examination and all types of consultations in the practice Dr. Markovic are free of charge.

Dental Practice Dr. Markovic is paying great attention to the care of children teeth in children. We train children to properly maintain the hygiene of teeth and mouth. We perform teeth fluoridation and sealing of fissures, which prevent the occurrence of caries. We apply the latest methods and use materials of the latest generation.

Cosmetic dentistry

Metal-free crowns and bridges give such appearance of teeth that the difference from natural teeth can be hardly noticed. The basis of the prosthetic restorations is alumina oxide or zircon oxide which is covered by a special type of ceramic. Such computer-supported manufacturing process provides excellent precision and aesthetic prosthetic work.

Porcelain facets are laboratory-made porcelain thin flakes that are put on the front of teeth to enhance the teeth apeearance. They are solution in cases when existing teeth changed color are damaged or incorrectly placed.

Shiny smile has always attracted the attention. However, the consumption of different foods and beverages, or under the influence of bad habits like smoking, teeth darken. Teeth whitening can bring back bright smile. Teeth whitening is completely painless and does not harm dental tissues. It is possible to whiten vital or non vital (teeth which nerve was removed) teeth. In practice Dr. Markovic we apply different techniques of teeth whitening.

Whitening technique in dental office is treatment that lasts 45 to 60 minutes and it is done with an internationally recognized materials that have prolonged effect. System is based on the application of hydrogen peroxide in a gel and special UV lamps. Lamp is not heating nor damaging teeth and it serves to accelerate the bleaching process. The gel contains fluoride, which  is good for teeth.

Home use technique is done with a special film that is made in dental office. Special gel is applied on film. Treatment lasts 7 days.

Implantology is the branch of dentistry that deals with the installation of implants for compensation of lost teeth and improvement the functions of chewing and speech, as well as to achieve better aesthetic appeareance. Today, the percentage of successful implant installation is about 97% in the lower jaw and about 95% in the upper jaw. Implants are considered successful if they stay 15 years in the mouth of the patient. In practice Dr. Markovic is working with two famous implant system: Straumann and Branemark.

Implants can be a solution in cases of lack of one, several or all teeth in one or both jaws.
