The 2010 Annual World Dental Congress will be held in Salvador, located in Bahia State, in the north eastern part of Brazil, from September 2nd – 5th. Salvador da Bahia has unique features that allow for the integration of science, business and leisure. The Scientific Programme for 2010 was structured to thoroughly consider major themes for the profession, always aiming for a connection with the mission of social responsibility of FDI to promote oral health to the people around the globe. The topics are intended to induce discussion on public policies and private practices, new trends, overviews of research, teaching and clinical practice and also a debate in integrating odontology and other professions to reach general and oral health.
